Easiest way to stretch 01/10/2008

I do find these to be the easiest and least painful way to stretch piercings, but unfortunately they aren't so easy to keep in place. For whatever reason the one I used in my left ear the O rings were continually sliding off and twice the whole thing came out. I finally gave up trying to keep the rings on and put plugs in.

Crescent tapers are great to stretch holes gradually without the sudden trauma of blunt barbells. One problem I experience with these tapers is that the O-rings tend to fall out. I've never actually lost the entire earring. Fortunately they're very reasonably priced and easy to replace.

Good, with minor problems 02/13/2007

I like these crescent tapers because they allow me to stretch my lobes without buying extra jewelry, since I'm going to gauge up again anyways. I also like that they are stainless steel and a good price. The only problem I've discovered, at least with the smaller gauges, is that they easily get caught in clothes, pillow, etc... which yanks your ear and kind of hurts. Just have to be super careful not to get it caught on anything. The end might not be as pointy on larger gauges, though I'm not sure (I'm only at 12ga)

I bought these tapers way back when I was just starting out my stretching process. The problem with me is that I don't have too much money to spare all the time, and I didn't want to buy tapers just to have to buy jewelry of that size. These were great because they're appropriate for stretching and for everyday wear, since it won't harbor bacteria like acrylic tapers. For me, since I was just going to stretch to the next size ASAP, it was a bargain!
